I live in a flat with a central boiler providing heating for all the residents. Because of this we are treated as a commercial building along with every flat of this type in the UK.

Residential buildings of this type are also not included in the energy price cap scheme, neither do we receive any financial support from Government that may be available to other residential properties.

The projected gas costs for our block of 18 flats for this winter and next year is £107,000.00 which is a rise of 750% on last winter.

I am not asking for any preferential treatment for myself or my fellow neighbours - only to be treated the same as other residential properties.
