Urge Mr. Snyder to invite mental health professional to talk to PHS students at assembly

From PHS Democrats in Action:
On Friday morning, Princeton High School students walked out of their first period class with the agonizing news that one of their classmates had committed suicide- the second time they had been read that paragraph in one year.
It would be logical to presume that PHS had already invited someone to talk to students about suicide within the last year, or at the very least made some attempt to educate students about the importance of mental well-being, but the school has, to this day, done nothing.
While our town's middle school gets therapy dogs for the day and acknowledgement of the problem, today the high school students get a reminder that we are taking the PSAT on Wednesday.
Is the school seriously waiting until a third life is taken before Princeton High School gets the message that there is a major mental health problem? We need to advocate for our community and end the naivete: if students weren't consistently have suicidal thoughts, suicide wouldn't keep happening.
We cannot just wait until another tragedy strikes our school. Sign our petition: we hope it will save lives.
