The Hawaii legislature recently passed important anti-human trafficking legislation, SB 2576, that will allow victims of sex trafficking to live their lives free of legal repercussions for crimes they committed as a result of being trafficked. Tell Governor Neil Abercrombie to help trafficking victims by signing this critical legislation into law.

Letter to
Hawaii Governor
I am writing to encourage you to sign into law SB 2576, a bill that will allow victims of sex trafficking to live their lives free of legal repercussions for crimes they committed as a result of being trafficked.

Victims of human trafficking face extraordinary challenges to rebuilding their lives once they escape the control of a trafficker, including severe physical and psychological trauma. In addition, many victims of sex trafficking have a criminal record as a result of being trafficked. However, SB 2576 will allow them to re-start their life with a clean criminal record. I am urging you to please sign SB 2576 today.
