PLEASE READ

Recently there has been much talk about the CIAC and their thoughtless, hurtful, and downright unacceptable act of canceling all winter sports playoff tournaments. Many steps could have been taken before making the quick decision of completely stopping the tournament in it’s entirety. The CIAC overall has been a less then favorable body before this dilemma, but this decision has pushed every high school athlete, parent, and fan past their breaking point. The dream of winning a state championship, pulling off the story book upset, or the overtime win, was taken away from athletes in a single meeting with no precursor.

With all of this being said I believe that we should make a 2 way trade with the state of New Jersey which would in turn give us their state sports committee and we in turn would give them the CIAC. Now knowing that this is not a fair trade because nothing could be worse than the CIAC, we will also give you in return the whole town of Greenwich and will implement a state wide “New Jersey Celebration Day” that will express our gratitude annually. We could also throw in 50 Cent. I’m pretty sure he has a house in Connecticut. On top of that for a little bonus we will give you guys the Connecticut river. A whole town, river, your own day, and 50 Cent is the least we could do  for taking the CIAC off our hands. This is all CT has to offer. I hope our great two states can come to an agreement. I urge all Connecticut and New Jersey Citizens to sign this petition. This is the first step to creating world peace.
