Connor Carlton C/O 2021 was wrongfully cut from the Upper Merion boys soccer program. This would have been his 4th and final year in the program. After suffering a concussion for most of the 2019-2020 season this was the year Connor hoped to prove he could be a top player on the team. Upper Merion held one week of tryouts, as well as optional practice 1 to 2 times a week. Connor was at every single tryout and optional day working, on his craft and trying to prove he could help the team. Connor truly loves the game of soccer and has a passion for it like it is the only thing that keeps him going. Connor at only 5'8" 140 lbs. was forced to tryout in the center back position relies on tall and strong players. Connor would fit in in the midfield where historically smaller players can thrive. The coaches purposely put Connor in the center back position, so they could cut him without suspicion. After all of the hard work Connor put it during the COVID-19 pandemic, and not being able to play last after being concussed by his on teammate, being sabotaged by his coaches was added insult to injury. Connor Carlton deserves and will be given justice.
