Upper Merion School District's inability to build tennis courts for the school is becoming an issue for the high school's girls and boys tennis teams as they have to travel 30 mins to a place with courts and then back to Upper Merion, causing them to spend around an hour in just traveling when that time could be used for practicing, or studying. The tennis players also suffer from a lack of support at home matches due to the distance of where home matches are being played in relative to the school. High school students have busy schedules and with tennis courts not being local, it is becoming a issue that all current players face and the future players in the coming years as no resolution to this has been found. As of now there are no talks to create new tennis courts that were broken down due to the new high school being built. So as current tennis players having to deal with all the issues, we all ask for new, local tennis courts.
