Wellington is setting the standard toward endemic native wildlife living within arms length of city life, with the amazing zealandia parks success wildlife is now spilling over into surrounding suburbs, lets keep what very little habitat they have to support the growth of our precious species, and set the standard across the country that it can be done.

This is an important area for the bird life we need to respect their home.

I grew up in Pinehaven and went to Pinehaven Primary, walking barefoot in the creek all the way to school because I liked the squishy feel. My shoes and socks were kept in my raincoat hood, and put on outside the school gates,

We are already noticing the effects of 'bulk housing !' We don't have the infrastructure in place to accommodate more. Those hills are what make our part of the valley so beautiful.

I dont think they should be adding house or taking trees out that are holding the land together amd drainage to the water flow. House below will be at risk of slips and flooding .

Pinehaven is a unique bush area that should be preserved. The roaring infrastructure is not coping as it is.
Add to that the fact that UHCC is not being transparent about what the plan is, failing to even put it in its 10 year plan brochure recently delivered to households. Why? Because it's not well thought out.

I oppose this development as it will negatively impact on the natural and ecological environment. Removing green areas where native flora and fauna exists and significantly changing our beautiful suburb.

Apart from not wanting to see the land change and increase likelihood for environmental pollution I also do not see any plans to increase infrastructure, schools, doctors, roading to accommodate all the new development work occurring. This seems short-sighted and damaging to the community
