Cell service in the Bay of Exploits has deteriorated over the past few years, but markedly so in the past year.

The Bay of Exploits is a high traffic zone for recreational boating. Many boaters and seasonal residents rely on cell service to meet the modern demands of staying in contact with friends, family and work as well as accessing weather forecasts, navigation apps, shopping for supplies and services, etc etc 

Cell service in Canada is expensive so we have the right to expect consistent quality service within the advertised Bell coverage area. At present, the cell signal is constantly changing, swinging between extremes of fairly good to non existent and back again in a few seconds.

Is there an issue with the most recent upgrade to new technology? Is the system properly setup with correct and fine tuned antennae vectors? Does the exposed location of Comfort Cove tower require a more frequent maintenance period?
