The Lloyd Family thanks each and every one of you for signing, sharing, and even making financial contributions to promote this campaign. We are humbled by your support of our father, Mario Lloyd. 

Since we've launched the petition, our father's only two living brothers–Charles Lloyd and Harold Lloyd–both transitioned in May 2021. As you can imagine, this has had quite a devastating impact on our father and the entire family dynamic.

Our father is now the only living elder in the Lloyd family, and we are fighting hard to keep him mentally and physically sound in the wake of unimaginable grief. 

That said, we will be resuming with our campaign efforts demanding his immediate release, and we'll be sure to keep you informed on how you can assist us.

Last year our father submitted his application for consideration of executive clemency (which can solely be granted by the President of the United States). The application was neither approved nor denied. Now that there's a new administration running our nation's government, we are once again ramping up efforts to call for our father's immediate release via Executive Clemency.
