During the above ground nuclear bomb testing at the Nevada Nuclear Test Site, people throughout Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona were exposed to lethal amounts of radioactive fallout. Subsequently, impacted populations in Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona were left out, when the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act was passed in 1990. Thus, we are petitioning the United States Congress to rectify this injustice and include the areas that were left out of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).
