Dear residents of Effingham Heights and surrounding areas, we have noticed an increase in street vendors that are most likely unlicensed on most corners of each road, there is also the problem of the guys drinking and urinating on the roadside. This is now causing traffic jambs violations as drivers cannot see past them and the vehicles that are parked which are supporting these vendors. Most patrons from the liquor store are consuming the alcohol at the corner of Belmont Road and Effingham Road and are throwing all the bottles and dirt on the ground. We now need to do something about this as this is causing the value of our properties to decrease. We need to use this platform as a formal complaint to try and have these people removed and know hold parties responsible for sorting this matter out. We need all vendors removed and there should be no public drinking allowed. If this happens the traffic should be lessened.
