Firing someone on poor work is ok, but firing someone based on political view is wrong. I cannot support Unknown World Entertainment any further if they choose to not rehire Simon Chylinski.

Shit like this makes my blood boil. You can't say a word without someone getting offended over it these days.
I hope you can get your job back.

Simon Chylinski did amazing work with the soundtrack and sound effects on Subnautica and he shouldn't be terminated because of his political views.

Because it was foolish to fire him for brigading idiots. Alternatively, they could also fire another staff member, Jess Damerst, and at least then they'll be consistent. ( https://archive.fo/PYpYg )

People can have a fucking personal opinion. Stop being whingy little bitches just because you don't agree with it.

Look, what Simon said wasn't worded very discreetly (you have to be careful to be clear you're talking about a country's problems and not that the people ARE the problem in and of themselves inherently as a people -- but rather because of bad decisions they've made and / or their surrounding circumstances (which we should work to assist with where possible). But as long as he truly values everyone as having the same value, despite having disagreements about what they think, then I think Simon deserves another chance.

Politics have no place in the workplace. People need to stop being so sensitive. This man didn't deserve to lose his job. It is unethical and discrimination to fire someone based on a political belief.
