Because I'm horrified at how successful anti-choice people have been at circumventing the legality of abortion. Because I'm disgusted that so many so-called "Christians" could put women in such a frightening & desperate place in such a hard luck town, as to have nowhere to go for an abortion. And I'm sure, much like myself, many of these women have no transportation to travel to another city (and they shouldn't have to). Where will these "Christians" be when unwanted children )who will be ACTUAL children, not the fetuses the "Christians" seem so obsessed with), where will those "Christians" be, those self-proclaimed "pro-life" people? Will they help feed, clothe, educate these kids? History points to a big "no" on that, a big "CUT WELFARE! NO FREE STUFF FOR THE POOR!" But, most of all, because I'm tired of "Christians" stepping on the rights of women in the name of their "god". Just like the old saying, “Your right to swing your arms ends just where the other man’s nose begins.”, I believe "your right to spout your religious beliefs from your pieholes ends where the woman you're harassing because she's seeking a legal medical procedure's uterus begins."
I grew up in Toledo, and I hate the idea that any woman living there now would not have access to a safe and legal procedure that she has the right to choose. No matter how much money you have or where you live, all women should have access to health services, including abortion.
I'm a firm believer of personal rights. I'm a man and would be furious if I were told how and what I could or could not do with my body. No difference with women. We are equal.
