This petition serves as a request to the University of the Philippines Los Baños Office of the Registrar and the higher officials to accept University of the Philippines waitlist applicants who chose the UPLB campus as their second campus choice.

The petitioners understand that changing the minimum requirements of the waitlist applicants had undertaken a thorough process. However, it is unfair for the applicants who showed their interest in this campus to be denied.

Nevertheless, it is recognized that the students who indicated this campus as their primary choice should be prioritized, but applicants who indicated it as second and qualified for the remaining requirements should not be cast aside. Among the eight campuses of this university, the requesters chose UPLB and another campus.

The supplicants believe that those who selected the UPLB campus should be given a chance to appeal, regardless of the order of their chosen campus. Thus, the start of this plea.

This petition was made to request another fair chance for the other waitlist applicants since many need high-quality and free tertiary education during this pandemic.
