Admit denied applicant Billy Keeler

This petition made change with 1,716 supporters!

Billy Keeler is a 29 year old father of two, that has been recently diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and extremely aggressive cancer. This cancer typically occurs in people over the age of 65. MD Anderson has at least two doctors that specialize in this rare cancer. This center is Billy's best chance for beating this cancer! Billy had worked for a union in Springfield, MO for the past 9 years. One of the battles the union has been fighting is trying to provide insurance for their members. Even after working hard for nine years Billy still had no insurance, and after enrolling for Obamacare, Billy applied and was denied for treatment at MD Anderson. Billy is a Hard-working, model citizen, parent of a four year old boy with another boy due any day. He is facing one of the most difficult cancers known and deserves the opportunity to fight this battle in the place that will provide him the best chance of success, regardless of insurance and politics. His life is more important than an application. We are petitioning MD Anderson to accept Billy Keeler and use him to be an example of how to whip cancer!
