With the modifications to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at The University of Texas at Tyler, it has now increased the number of graduating students in the summer semesters. We, as students, would like to propose that, moving forward, a commencement ceremony be held for graduating students of the summer semesters. The following students support the proposition to hold a summer commencement ceremony, starting in August 2020.
