Better campus policy for UT students with short term disability

Students with injuries impeding their ability to get around campus at the University of Texas at Austin have little to no accommodations made by the University. When I tore my ACL and had surgery, I had to use crutches to get around campus for several weeks. UT's campus is not friendly to those whose mobility is impeded. Although there are countless golf carts zipping around campus daily, none are set aside for student in capable of walking. Yet, there are accommodations made for disabled attendees at football games and athletes themselves when injured. Therefore, I move that UT create a friendlier policy for acutely, or temporarily, disabled students.
