Healthcare Insurance for College Students
Healthcare Insurance for College Students
As one of the biggest and prestigious public universities in Texas, The University of Texas at Austin has once again failed its students. They're approximately 51,000 students at this institution, who of which pay roughly about $25,000 each for Tuition and Housing annually. From the millions this institution receives, there are no "secured" medical assistance students. One of the biggest problems in America is Affordable Healthcare and as college students, having another bill to pay could be stressful while trying to budget for other materials like groceries or textbooks. A student should have access to health insurance at least their undergraduate years that would cover general doctor checkups or sick visits, dental checkups, and if possible visits to the eye doctor. Its time that this institution starts investing more on the health of their students and less on million-dollar sports facilities.
