The student section at the University of Texas at Austin is extremely small and not designed to accommodate the number of students that attend the games at all. One of the biggest issues that plague the student section arrangement is the huge discrepancy between Big Ticket (the student tickets) holders and the number of seats available. Thanks to this discrepancy, the big games are a disorganized mess. The entrance was comparable to a stampede as students rushed to get one of the very limited seats. This issue would be solved if the University opened up more spaces dedicated to students.
