All research, in order tp be credible, needs to be unbiased and free from the influence of funding manipulation.

We are employees at UT, in the sciences. This is a disgrace to the university and casts a shadow on all research done at the U. If we want UT to be an academic leader we cannot allow junk science like this to prevail. This is an embarrassment to all UT science departments. He's got to go, and with a through and open investigation as to how this was allowed to happen.

UT has a bad habit of allowing such crap from its "hired help". The UT student body in general just happens to disagree with Mark Regnerus. Maybe those students should find another university to attend. Get off your asses UT and stop catering to the Republican right. George Bush "ain't" in office anymore!

At no point should the scientific method be corrupted by bias nor by politics. At this point, UT stands on the cusp of either supporting true research, vigorous peer review and thoughtful contemplation or... becoming a laughing-stock with ever diminishing respect in the scientific community. Remove Mr. Regnerus from his position for ethical malfeasance and regain the public trust. Choose wisely as this choice will be borne by every alumnus of your institution.

Aside from believing that everybody deserves marriage equality,I have been seriously interested in attending UT-A for my master's degree. After reading these charges, I am much less interested in associating my name with this University. I would rather attend somewhere where academic integrity actually means something.

Fraudulent research harms the entire scientific community, the academic institution, and in this case, deliberately harms gay parents. This is shameful.

As a scientist, I believe in the power of science to educate and bring about positive change in the world. However, when science is used as a tool by bigots when deep pockets to spread misinformation and hatred, it is a travesty that the scientific community should not allow to pass by without loud opposition. It is an embarrasment for UT to have this man on their payroll.

As a University graduate I hate to see UT showing such lax attitudes towards misconduct unbecoming a professional training ground. If I were currently looking for an institution for increased education I certainly would not choose UT. This is nothing less egregious than a student practicing plagiarism, for which most institutions of higher learning would expel the individual. Shame on the Assoc. Prof Regnerus and SHAME on UT for allowing this type of behavior to continue. What an example you set for the young people getting ready for college.
