Award recognition of UOS engineering students graduating from international study centers.

Award recognition of UOS engineering students graduating from international study centers.
The Issue
Abstract
This petition is on behalf of engineering graduates of the University of Sunderland through their overseas study centre, SEGi College Subang Jaya. The objective of this petition is to push and urge both the University of Sunderland and SEGi College Subang Jaya, to follow up and liaise with all concerned diplomatic and engineering boards to facilitate solid international recognition and accreditation of our award.
Problem Statement
Upon completing our 3 year bachelor's programme, many of us have came to the unfortunate realization that our programme is not recognized or accredited by diplomatic bodies (including but not limited to consulates and embassies) as well as engineering boards such as the BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia), Saudi Council of Engineers, PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) and many many more.
As a result we the engineering graduates of University of Sunderland though SEGi College Subang Jaya (Malaysia), found ourselves unable to:
1. Attest our documents at certain embassies/consulates.
2. Register with engineering boards in our home countries.
*In some cases, the best we could achieve is to get our 'BE.ng (Hons) Engineering' degree, to be equated to a vocation technical engineering course or a diploma!
Our Demands
1. Have a proper discussion session with the alumni and graduates to know where the issues lie and who are mostly affected.
2. Both the University of Sunderland and SEGi College Subang Jaya need to formally acknowledge and address this issue in order to know how to proceed.
3. The respective institutions need to contact all the concerned diplomatic bodies and engineering boards to discuss how this issue can be resolved.
Affected Students
All present, former and future graduates of BE.ng (Hons) in 'Mechanical Engineering' / Automotive Engineering / Electronic and Electrical Engineering
***those studying and graduating from SEGi College Subang Jaya and SEGi University Kota Damansara
Did we try to resolve this issue with our study centre?
Tens of students over the years have raised this issue to the University of Sunderland, SEGi College Subang Jaya and SEGi University Kota Damansara. Meetings were held, phones were called and emails were sent however, no solid solution was ever put on the table and the topic was never taken seriously hence why we have made this public online petition. Moreover, not at any occasion did the University of Sunderland or our study centre contact the bodies that are not recognizing our award to find out why that's the case.
