Make USC a Conflict-Free Campus

This petition had 27 supporters

Our goal is that USC make a commitment to reduce the ways in which university funds are used to finance the conflict in Congo. In order to accomplish this goal, we would like to see USC implement a policy requiring that they consider a company's conflict mineral status when making investment and procurement decisions. Conflict mineral status would not necessarily be prioritized above other factors in the decision-making process, such as product quality or a company's particular affiliations. Rather, we would like to see conflict mineral status and these other factors considered equally.

If you're an individual, club, organization that wants to support this mission, we want your help!
