Stop Allowing Extremist Groups to Harass Students On USF Campuses

In the recent months, there has been an influx in a number of extremist conservative groups congregating and harassing USF students on campus. These groups have established grounds in front of the two busiest places on campus, the library and Cooper Hall. One extremist Christian group has made aggressive remarks towards students in the defense of their religion for several months. And recently, a Pro-Life group has advertised graphic images to scare people to join their cause and has demonized and harassed those who disagree. In an educational institution that is supposedly accepting and celebrates diversity, we believe that hate groups such as but not limited to these should not be allowed to protest on the USF campuses.
