Context: Many college graduates were looking forward to celebrating their accomplishments in person with their peers and loved ones. Given the conditions of COVID-19, we knew that it would take some time before it was safe to reunite.

In light of 2022 just around the corner and in-person commencements back in session, we can't help but wonder, "when is it going to be our turn?" Other Jesuit universities like Santa Clara University have already figured out a solution for their Class of 2020 graduates and we have yet to hear what USF has in store for us.

We spent $240k - $60k at the University of San Francisco (USF) only for them to provide us with the lack of communication on the status of a possible in person commencement.

Current Situation: Class of 2021 & 2022 have already been notified about their ceremony dates. Class of 2020 has been issued an apologize for being uninvited to participant due to limited capacity in the St. Ignatius church where the commencement will take place.

Demands: Transparency with Class of 2020's Commencement planning and estimated date for the ceremony.
