William Price started this petition to University of Pittsburgh

Starting in the 2019-2020 school year the University of Pittsburgh is requiring students to pay a premium fee for high speed internet in the resident halls. Pitt is already one of the most expensive public affiliated institutions in the United States. All Pitt students living in Pitt owned housing already pay resident fees. They also pay computing fees every semester. The undersigned believe this new fee creates an unfair academic advantage to students with financial means to pay for improved internet. We believe if sufficient pressure is put on the University of Pittsburgh from alumni, students, and families we can convince Pitt to providing equal high speed internet to all residents.
