As delta variant becomes popular in US, the daily new cases climbs to around 100,000 again, even with more than half of Americans being fully vaccinated.

In this situation, is returning school in fall really a good choice? Once we started in-person learning, undoubtedly many covid cases will occur in both student and faculty groups, since delta variant is super contagious. Then we will still have to do it online. So why even make those cases happen? Why travel in this special period? Which will gather different variants from different districts and countries, and may produce a even more scary one?

I understand that remote learning might not be enjoyable, but for the sake of our and our family’s safety, for not making the pandemic even more severe, remote learning is the way to go.
