Coronavirus is a serious issue and students are concerned about their wellbeing. This petition is created for University of Pécs representatives to provide solutions for its students. Since the International Evening was cancelled, this leads us to be more cautious about this virus and we believe that an event which lasts for only 4 hours is less dangerous than a semester which finishes minimum by the end of May. 

We are not asking anything luxurious or “student’s silly requests”. This is a serious issue which made everyone scared to even go out for grocery shopping. If a virus came from Wuhan to China, Asia and everywhere in the world, it wouldn’t be so hard to go from Budapest to Pécs. We don’t need verified cases in our city  to take measurements as it will be harder to manage the situation if that happens. What we can do to prevent this is thinking about solutions for everyone’s health.
