Help Collaborative University of Ottawa Nursing Students Save Their Year

As a student of the collaborative Ottawa U/Algonquin nursing program I have recently written to University of Ottawa President Jacques Frémont to express some of my concerns regarding the college strike.
As a University of Ottawa student, I believe that at this point in time the University should be taking action to make special plans to get students back in the classroom or at the very least, find ways to mitigate the impact of our lost Algonquin class time - perhaps by hosting additional classes at Ottawa U.
The majority of our tuition & fees go to The University of Ottawa not Algonquin College. I believe therefore that Ottawa U has a fiscal responsibility to help aid in this situation.
As nursing students, we have a particularly demanding and heavy course load and we can only work ahead so much on our own without the aid of an expert.
If you feel that Ottawa U should step up and help assist the collaborative nursing students, please sign this petition.
Thank you in advance for your support.
