Although the Fountain View Dining Hall boasts many awards and accomplishments, it is incredibly common for food to be poorly prepped and served to students, who rely on the dining hall for their nutritional needs. On several occasions chicken and pasta have been undercooked, as well as multiple accounts of moldy bread being served and even pizza containing dead insects. These food conditions are unacceptable and show a disregard for student well being from the University.

In order to solve this issue, staff should be qualified and educated on how to properly prepare food, as well as routine unannounced food quality checks conducted by the University's health inspection services. A large majority of the student body depends on this dining hall, and should not have to worry about the quality of food they are putting into their bodies.
