I am an alum of this program and think it would be a shame to see it go. I know students currently in this program and think it is completely unfair to them. This will force them to either go out if state or change their course of study. We need to keep the fashion eco-system in Nebraska alive.

We need this department!! This field of work Is very crucial to the retail world. Nebraska has a good chunk of retail headquarters. Wouldnt it be great to go to school then get a headquarters job in that state??

Textile and apparel programs like Nebraska’s offer exceptional value in terms of a stellar education to students that cannot be duplicated in other academic programs. Graduates of this and other programs like it are an outstanding resource for the global apparel industry.
