The University of Namibia (Main Campus) has accepted a huge number of student for Hostel accommodation. Registration for hostel is open, however only those that are vaccinated are put into consideration. Those that are not vaccinated were sent back, to get vaccinated. Vaccination in Namibia up to this day is "voluntarily" and not mandatory. Students feel threatened and forced to take Vaccination against their will. Not everyone is ready to take a risk of what ever side effects the vaccines could possibly bring. Student's rights are unfortunately not considered at this moment. School will start on the 14 February 2022, and every students accepted in the hostel should be allowed in the hostel on time whether vaccinated or unvaccinated. No one should feel forced to get vaccinated, they should do so willingly. We as students are negatively affected by this policy created by the University of Namibia (Main Campus).
