This is important to all students who receive institutional scholarships. The University has unfairly enacted this policy retroactively on all students who have University funded scholarships. Now, instead of issuing refund checks when scholarships exceed your cost, the University will offer a bookstore credit, at a maximum of $1,000. However, students use these refund checks for school-related expenses and living costs. The University also has not made these changes public in the terms of their scholarships, but is operating under this new policy.
