Say NO to anti-Semitism and hate on University of Minnesota's campus

As concerned alumni of the University of Minnesota, we have been informed that The Minnesota Daily reported on March 1, 2018, that UMN Divest will put an anti-Israel referendum on the ballot during next week’s all-campus election. The referendum calls for our beloved alma mater to divest from companies that are based in, or support, the State of Israel.
UMN Divest’s hateful referendum is inherently anti-Semitic, and poses a threat to Jewish students on campus. Divestment also jeopardizes valuable scholarship and employment opportunities for Minnesota students, especially those in the business or engineering schools. Finally, the aftermath of an attack on Israel at other Big Ten schools is shown to only provoke hate, division, and anti-Semitism on campus.
