The key fob activated turnstiles are a complete annoyance to all 1,000 people living in the dorm buildings. They are almost always broken in multiple ways. Sometimes the bars will close and hit a person, other times the bars won't open at all. They don't do anything to increase security in the buildings because anyone can easily obtain a key fob, and they don't contain any identifying information. All in all, they are annoying and frustrating for everyone, and no one gains anything from having them.

With the addition of the ID scanners at each entrance, the turnstiles became completely useless and redundant. If we have to scan our ID, we shouldn't have to go through the process of using our key fob as well.

The solution to this problem is simple: turn off the turnstiles. It's so simple, and everyone gains.
