With the current Coronavirus situation a lot of students have seen the effects of the virus up close either through family (immediate or not) and their friends, this puts a lot of stress on the students and effects their willingness and ability to work to a good standard for exams. Especially during exams students will not perform to their full potential. In order to protect our students a safety net should be put in place that would guarantee a minimum of a pass in each exam taken. Not only will this stop students failing exams but would also reduce a huge amount of stress on our students meaning they would produce higher quality work, be able to spend time helping their family and community through caring or just mental support for those that are struggling mentally with the lockdown.
