My daughter has worked extremely hard over the last 3 years in unique times and deserves to graduate like everyone else. Other universities are taking the time & trouble to do it, why not Liverpool?
It’s disgraceful the lack of empathy for the students. The university should hang its head in shame 

I think the students will be scattered across the country by next year and not able to attend.

The ceremonies can happen outside and university should reward their students who have overcome such obstacles during the last two years - including lecturer strikes!

My son has had a challenging experience with minimal face to face contact and virtilual feels trips via Google maps. This would be the final straw to not have a graduation ceremony considering other Universities in Liverpool are continuing with their ceremonies.

These young people have had to do their final studying under really bad circumstances and they have already been treated unfairly but they have worked on to complete them. All credit to them. It’s really cruel to deny them their graduation and that time with their peers. Let the young people have their graduation, they’ve more than earned it.

My daughter’s student life has been robbed from her and this is the least the University can do for her before she leaves

I believe this should go ahead as it is with other universities around the UK

My Godson is a student at Liverpool University. His parents has sacrificed much to pay for him to attend university and still paying the university despite cancelled lessons etc. The only people to have benefited during the Pandemic is the universities and now cancelling their graduation is wrong. However, if the University is going to fully reimburse the parents for the last two years of cancelled lessons if they cancel their graduation too! 郎

I think it’s time to move on, in spite of what people have gone through in the past year!

The reputation of this so-called "elite" Russell lies in tatters. The standard of online learning and now your failure to acknowledge the work of your soon to be graduates means that your reputation as a high institute of learning is confined to the gutter.
