Since the Transitional Student Representative Council (TSRC) came into power in the University of Limpopo it has done nothing but to defend the agenda and interests of the management. They have failed to serve the interests of the students and therefore they should be removed immediately and we therefore demand ELECTIONS NOW!!. The University of Limpopo is amongst the universities whereby the academic year has been extended and it therefore means even the allowances from NSFAS for both living and private accommodation should be extended to cover for the extended academic year. The TSRC through its Chairperson SEKEDI it has failed to negotiate with the management to see reason as to why those allowances needs to be extended, instead they have shown great disregard for the interests of the students living offcampus and who need money to pay private accommodation in that they have connived with the management to rather suffocate students with exams during the festive season, the very same students who are being kicked out of their respective rooms daily for not being able to pay rent.
