The University of Idaho is a stronger institution when it shows respect and inclusion for a diverse range of students. Disabled students contend with extensive prejudices, biases, and barriers in their everyday life and on college campuses. The plan to move Disability Support Services from the heart of campus will relegate students with disabilities to a dark basement, reinforcing the second class status that disabled students often face. As a blind student I deeply care about this issue. Please support this petition to keep the Disability Support Services in the TLC-Commons building.
