Allow Herts BSc Students onto the MSc by Research Course

Students of Herts' school of Physics, Astrophysics and Mathematics are no longer allowed the opportunity to do an MSc by research at the University of Hertfordshire. The given reason for this change is that "BSc students are not well prepared to go directly into the MSc and start full-time research". As paying adults, students should be allowed to make this decision for themselves. BSc students from other universities are allowed to apply for this course so is Herts uni suggesting that their own degree is not up to standard of other universities? This new rule needs to be removed so that everyone has the same right to education at the University of Hertfordshire, and not be punished for choosing this university in the first place.
