The University of Hartford "blue light" system is used to notify on-campus public safety when a student is feeling unsafe or in any type of danger. However, there are no blue emergency lights in a section of campus where over half of the students reside. I am a victim of sexual assault on campus and there was no way for me to reach an emergency blue light during this experience. Sign this petition if you want facilities at the University of Hartford to put an emergency blue light in the village quads!
