As we all know, John Irwin’s Ethics class took their final test last week and we were all shocked and surprised at how difficult that test was. We were even more shocked at our marks as many of us failed and many barely passed. The highest mark that is known is a 58 and this is really concerning considering this was for an “open book” test. This level of failure strongly indicates that something is amiss. Either our professor did a poor job of preparing us for this exam or he set expectations for us that were completely unrealistic to achieve. At this point, we are requesting a fair resolution as we believe that the test that we took was in no way fair. Furthermore, our mark certainly does not accurately display our knowledge on the course material considering many of us were getting 80s and 90s in this course before the final test.
