A number of my friends have expressed interest to me, in whether I would be interested in purchasing from their small businesses. Whether this is a Crochet business, Nail design stalls, Bakery goods, Crystal or Jewelry makers, our community is full of young female and male entrepreneurs who have limited avenues to distribute and advertise their small businesses. This petition will be sent to the University of Delaware Administration, as a demonstration of interest. If you are someone who has a small business who would be interested in getting the word out to our community, know of a friend with aspirations, or simply would be interested in engaging in a student-run weekly market on the Green, please consider signing this petition. The more interest we have, the more likely our idea is considered. The concept is a variety of student-run stalls set up on the green every Sunday in the fall semester, where students can wander and shop with their friends- supporting other students' aspirations and picking up personalized and handcrafted items along the way.
