I have really bad test anxiety as it is, Proctorio is so nerve racking it makes me freeze up and not be able to think correctly.

They should also ban it because it requires the use of google chrome which last I checked doesn’t follow ferpa

The CEO is a Redditor with the username 'artfulhacker'. He publically leaked chat transcripts that were supposed to be private. It is possible for professors to create exams based on critical thinking that do not need Proctorio to prevent cheating.

The extent of which Proctorio goes to ensure a "secure" testing environment is absurd. I'm all for taking a test fairly, but Proctorio feels more like being locked in a maximum security penitentiary.
