Increase the Class Size of Animal Behavior (ZOO 4513)

Every college student knows the struggle of needing specific courses to graduate. They also know the sinking feeling of seeing the length of a wait list for those courses, knowing the chances of getting in are slim to none.
One of those requirements for Biology students are the choices of Animal Behavior and/or Animal Physiology. Many of us do not have a lot of course options because of the prerequisites needed (Animal Physiology included), and Animal Behavior would fit our tracks perfectly, as well as being an area of interest for many UCF students.
The problem however, is that Animal Behavior (ZOO 4513) only has one class available per semester. **Spring '18 has a total class size of only 75 students.** With well over 60,000 students attending UCF, there needs to be something done about this. Those of us high on the wait list are hoping to convey to UCF the demand for either another Animal Behavior class, or an increase in class size for this upcoming Spring '18. We are serious about our education, and we do not wish to take "filler" classes just because there is not enough room for our main interest.
Even if you're not a Biology major, please sign our petition so that we can show UCF enough students care about this issue! You can help us make a change!
