Compensating for deprivation of food choices

Monday was the first day of the UC workers strike. I am more than sure it has affected all of us, either in the sense of having our meals cooked, or having our environment clean. While many of us support the cause, we cannot deny it is affecting our education. When I go to Pippin, there is no variety of food choices, this leads us into spending our money to go find alternatives. In one day alone, I spent over $14. We have been paying more than 12K for our housing and meal plans. It is Middle Earth's responsibility to keep its tenants content. We are asking for at least $10 in FlexDine, per day, in order to be able to keep up with the lack of food that is not being provided. Please support our cause by sharing it with residents of Middle Earth. Remember, the customer is always right.
