The University of Calgary ought to be held responsible for its commitments to in-person classes. Students are travelling, making living decisions and leaving jobs to attend in-person classes and the University of Calgary failed to notify students and the Students' Union of the changes to online learning. we are paying full tuition to sit at home and teach ourselves, while festivals are going on in the city, gatherings and sports events. The University of Calgary was irresponsible in sending an email to notify students last minute that classes were going to be online. The university failed to uphold its open communication standards and promises.
