A pro-life society has emerged at the university of Birmingham that actively supports the oppression of women and others with uteruses. It is disgusting that the uni has let this happen. Societies are for making friends and raising awareness for REAL issues in the world. And this society seems to be ran by cis men too which is just the icing on the cake. These people aren't prolife. They are pro-birth and anti-woman. There is no place for such a backwards and hateful group of people at a uni that prides itself on its inclusivity and diversity. 

Those who are "pro-life" are also usually pro-war, pro-draft and pro-death penalty. They do not care about life. They want to control women. Simple.

To the University of Birmingham,

Do you not recall when on the 17th of March, when hundreds of people at the uni came out to protest how unsafe it is for women around the uni? You said you listened to us. You clearly didn't.

Allowing a hateful group like that to breed within the university again shows that you do not care about women and their safety.

"The promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion is central to the mission and vision of the University of Birmingham. On our founding in 1900, a core commitment was to accept women and people of all religious backgrounds as equal members of the University community."

These are YOUR words but you lie.
