Savannah Hall started this petition to University of Alabama and

So many seniors did not receive tickets to the Georgia game only to see many underclassmen and people who had no intention of attending the game now selling their tickets for $300+. Seniors should get a ticket regardless of UA credit hours. As a transfer student I have less UA credit hours than most seniors but will still be graduating in May, making this my last football season as a student. I know so many who are in the same boat as me who came in either as a transfer or with AP and dual enrollment credits. Just because we do not have the “required” UA hours does not mean we aren’t still experiencing our last football season as students. There are also many seniors who met the requirements and still did not get tickets.

It is so unfair for seniors to not get a ticket while other students get them and sell them for an insane amount of money when half of the students cannot afford to pay that price. When the opt-in process was announced it was assumed that it would put so many of us seniors at a disadvantage, but we were hopeful that it would change for the major games like Georgia and Auburn. For games such as these students should also not be allowed to sell their tickets. The way that this process is working is unfair to the system and unfair for those who deserve a ticket. It should change before the Iron Bowl as the stadium should be full of seniors who love Alabama Football and genuinely want to be at the game. This our last football season to make these lifelong college memories.
