It is sickening that UCL globally brands itself as an institution founded upon diversity and ethics, when in fact it is responsible for violations of human rights. Through its shameful decisions to sustain economic relationships with these companies (fossil fuel and arms alike) that cause irreversible damage to mainly people of colour from low income backgrounds in other countries, UCL is hugely immoral and backward.

People need to know this.

The wish is that arms and weapons trade and sales become a thing of the past. The wish is that no company or affiliated organisation profits from the sales of arms and weapons. This could be defined as slavery as people are gaining economically from harmful trade and exploitation of vulnerable people.

I am signing because I think UCL's international reputation is tarnished by taking money from firms selling arms to countries with terrible human rights records.
