1 in 10 people are unable to afford sanitary products. Period poverty is a very serious issue which affects many individuals. Having free sanitary products on campus is extremely important to ensure that everyone who has a period has access to sanitary products. This is something we believe needs more attention. There are many other universities who offer free sanitary products to their students however, our university does not. It is not fair on people who do not have access to these items at hand. Please sign this petition to show your support and help us to convince the University and Student Union to fund for free sanitary products to be available around campus for individuals who need it.
